Sampling
At Utopian Limited, we understand that great products start with great samples. Our dedicated sampling team works closely with clients to transform initial concepts into accurate, high-quality prototypes that meet both design and technical speci cations. From development samples to t, size set, and pre-production samples, we ensure every stage is handled with precision and attention to detail. We collaborate with experienced pattern makers, fabric specialists, and merchandisers to ensure that the samples re ect your vision—while aligning with production feasibility and market expectations. Our e cient sampling process not only shortens lead times but also ensures faster approvals, reducing the overall time-to-market. Pricing Management
We select the most suitable factory to ful l the customer’s products and quality, keeping cost in mind. We always o er our customers a DTC (Design to Cost) proposal if the styling expected by the customer does not meet the targeted FOB price. Without major styling changes, our product development team o ers DTC to achieve the expected target prices.
As part of the re-engineering process, our Industrial Engineering Team always analyzes SMV, productivity, e ciency, and production layout to get better value from production.
Quality Management
Once an order has been placed with a supplier, we take the following steps to see that only correct merchandise is shipped:
We draw samples of fabric to be used and check its quality, weight, shrinkage, color fastness, etc. We call for lab-dips and obtain buyers’ approval of shades before bulk fabric is dyed. Before production is started, we obtain approval sample and check it minutely in all respects such as size speci cation, workmanship, cleanliness and proper t of the garment. We also suggest from time to time, possible improvements in production process to improve workmanship and get perfect merchandise.
Our quality controllers visit factories at regular intervals, making surprise checks, to see that only the correct quality is produced and reject sub-standard and defective pieces in the production pipeline itself. When the consignment is ready, we carry out systematic inspection as suggested by our buyers. If the merchandise is found satisfactory, we issue a certi cate of inspection.
Shipping & Logistic
Freight Without Friction
Utopian Limited offers end-to-end shipment and cargo handling solutions to ensure your goods are delivered safely, on time, and with full transparency. Our experienced logistics team coordinates closely with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transportation partners to manage all aspects of export—from documentation and booking to tracking and final delivery.
Shipping documents are checked as per the buyer’s instruction and the copy documents are sent to buyers well in advance of the shipment to avoid any discrepancies.
